Selwyns takes Delivery of New Vehicles

Seven new two-axle Plaxton Elites vehicles have been delivered to Selwyns for use on National Express services.

The specification of the vehicles includes a front-entrance PLS lift, Shades floor mounted toilet and 48 leather Fainsa Gala seats (with automatic adjusting child/adult seat belts) plus wi-fi.

To comply with DDA a front destination screen is fitted beneath the windscreen, which opens up the forward view for passengers.  The vehicles have a solid rear, while the emergency exit is at the rear offside.  They also feature lighting to guide customers to the exit and toilet, as well as as easy access for engineers, thanks to fully hinged opening panels at the rear.            

Selwyns win Cheshire West Contract

Selwyns Travel Group has been awarded the contract to move students of Sir John Deanes College from pick up points in Chester and Ellesmere Port to the college in Northwich by Cheshire West & Chester Council.  The contract began in April.
